DeMitis Donations is a nonprofit based in Pennsylvania with one simple goal, to make sure every piece of donated clothing goes straight to the people who need it most. While some organizations, like GreenDrop, collect donations and resell them to thrift stores, we take a different approach — we deliver clothing directly to local churches, shelters, and families, with no resale and no middlemen. We also make giving easy by offering both free pickups and drop-off options, ensuring that donating is as simple as cleaning out your closet. Our work is guided by a commitment to transparency, putting the community first, and ensuring every donation has a direct impact.
Services
At DeMitis Donations, we make giving easy and free through doorstep pickups and scheduled drop-offs. The only revenue we generate comes from our affordable junk removal service, which helps fund our work. All clothing donations go directly to local partners including Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter Chester County, Dorothy Day Center at St. Agnes Parish, and the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County. This way your generosity has an immediate impact where it’s needed most.

Donating clothing has never been easier. With our free pickup service, you simply schedule a time and leave your items at the door, and we will handle the rest. From there your donations are delivered directly to local shelters and families in need, making it simple to turn what you no longer use into comfort and care for someone else.

If you prefer to bring items to us, our drop-off service is always free. You can schedule a time that works best for you, and we will make sure your donations are received and delivered directly to local shelters and families in need. Every drop-off helps us put clothing into the hands of neighbors who need it most.

For items that cannot be donated, we offer junk removal as a way to support our mission. This is our only source of revenue, and all proceeds go directly toward funding clothing pickups and deliveries.
